CruiseRMD was founded by a river enthusiast who believed the Rhine, Main & Danube deserved a specialist — not a generalist. Over a decade on, we've helped thousands of travellers discover Europe at its most intimate.
How CruiseRMD Began
In 2014, Aurelian Iosif was working as crew on a river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. Watching guests fall in love with the slow pace, the ever-changing scenery, and the ability to wake up in a new medieval town each morning, he knew this was how Europe was meant to be seen — and that he wanted to be the one helping people experience it.
He founded CruiseRMD with a single conviction: that the Rhine, Main & Danube waterway is one of the world's great travel experiences, and that it deserves a specialist who knows every lock, every port, and every hidden restaurant worth the detour.
Today Aurelian and his team of river experts have collectively sailed hundreds of thousands of nautical miles across Central Europe's inland waterways. We don't just book cruises — we design journeys.

Aurelian began his river cruise career as crew on the Budapest–Amsterdam route in 2014. That first-hand experience aboard — watching guests discover Europe from the water — inspired him to found CruiseRMD and dedicate himself to helping others experience the same magic.

Every reservation made through CruiseRMD is completed 100% on the cruise operator's own booking portal. As an officially affiliated agency, we have direct access to each operator's live inventory — the latest offers, real-time cabin availability, and current pricing — exactly as it appears on the cruise line's own platform. Once your voyage is confirmed, you receive a unique reservation code directly from the operator. This code gives you full access to your booking on the cruise line's website, where you can manage your reservation, select dining preferences, add shore excursions, and review all voyage details — with complete transparency and the full backing of the operator behind every step.
